Meet Your Teachers
Katzi disposes an alacrity for sharing her passion of yoga as she has experienced first hand the ineffable shifts that yoga can create on the totality of one’s being. She has been actively practicing since 2006 and teaching since 2012. She has completed over 1,000 hours of training from various lineages with focus on vinyasa, yin, creative sequencing, ayurveda, Dharma Yoga, advanced asanas, subtle body, meditation techniques, psychic development, yoga nidra, aromatherapy, kids, and Forrest Yoga. She takes the practice seriously yet has a winsome approach when it comes to teaching.
She believes one should focus on what they can do in order to make themselves stronger and to progress. Her classes are given with wisdom woven throughout with a light hearted essence that gives space to have fun, especially for approaching the challenging aspects of the course.
Luckily Katzi’s inimitable optimistic perspective towards challenges paid off after miraculously surviving a car accident in Summer 2019 where she broke her C2, rib, and left arm. Her doctors claim that yoga saved her life. With the flexibility of her spine she was her spinal column didn’t snap in half. She now continues to dedicate her life towards sharing the teachings and the practice to support others.
Despite the amount of hours put towards official trainings, her accident has been the apogee of all degrees. She feels that in all challenging situations that life puts us in is an opportunity to really apply the practice. She fully integrated the lessons in order to heal herself on all levels. Throughout this course of healing, she has found ways to connect with others who are dealing with pain, stress, and overall self enhancement. She has started incorporating sound healing and reiki (master level) into her sessions to create subtle shifts and to elevate the overall transformational experience. Her intent is to inspire all to find their inner sparkle in order to heal, transform, + create a stronger connection to their divine essence within.
